Dr. Gamze ÖNEY
Orthodontist

After graduating from Istanbul German High School, Dr. Gamze Öney completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2014, she ranked 6th nationwide in the Dentistry Specialization Exam (DUS) and began her residency training in orthodontics. She received her specialist title in 2019 upon completing her thesis at Istanbul University, Department of Orthodontics.

During her residency, she gained experience in fixed, functional, and clear aligner (Invisalign) treatments, as well as in the management of orthognathic surgery cases and patients with cleft lip and palate. She also took an active role in teaching undergraduate students and supervising clinical training.

Committed to continuous professional development, Dr. Öney regularly attends national and international congresses, seminars, and courses. Her main fields of interest include clear aligner therapy, fixed orthodontics, and functional orthodontics.

She is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD), and the Turkish Dental Association (TDB). She is fluent in German and English.
